The latest LSB release adds support for Python and Perl. From
[http://www.linux.com/feature/127582](http://www.linux.com/feature/127582) :

_"
Runtime languages_ (new in 3.2): Covers Perl and Python. Any application
based on these languages can count on a standard set of features and
libraries being available; for example, check the required lists for
Python
modules[http://refspecs.linux-foundation.org/LSB\_3.2.0/LSB-Languages/LSB-Languages/pymodules.html](http://refspecs.linux-foundation.org/LSB_3.2.0/LSB-Languages/LSB-Languages/pymodules.html)and
Perl
modules[http://refspecs.linux-foundation.org/LSB\_3.2.0/LSB-Languages/LSB-Languages/perlymodules.html](http://refspecs.linux-foundation.org/LSB_3.2.0/LSB-Languages/LSB-Languages/perlymodules.html).
Two test suites are included, one for each language.

Anyone know of any plans to include Ruby?
