We are assisting a client with their search for a RoR Developer. They  
are located in San Mateo, CA and would prefer hiring a full time  
resource but would consider a contractor, as well. They are well  
funded and offer a competitve salary/equity package.

Description:

The developer will work on both a rich AJAX-centric web application  
and a SOA back end that supplies data to an iPhone application. A  
strong understanding of the RoR MVC object model is necessary. We  
operate in an Agile environment, and value flexibility and creativity.  
A willingness to work on multiple types of tasks and a rapidly  
evolving product is also desired.

Qualifications include:  
· 2+ years professional experience with RoR  
· Experience using SQL, especially MySQL, in a Rails  
application  
· Familiarity with Unix-based operating systems, especially  
Linux  
· Comfortable with risks and dynamic environment associated  
with a startup
