# Javascript + string in HTML

Hello the following I am getting for the server How do i append it to my  
view in a html format.  
response = { “data”: “\<div class=“datatable-column-header  
col1”\>Name\</div\>” }  
currently I am doing the following

something.prepend(response.data);

and the output on view I am getting string from Name.
