Installtion woes (rails: file not found)

Hi,

I’ve been trying to get RoR installed, I’m using Ruby 1.8.2 (from
source).

root@bear:/# gem install rails --include-dependencies
Attempting local installation of ‘rails’
Local gem file not found: rails*.gem
Attempting remote installation of ‘rails’
Updating Gem source index for: http://gems.rubyforge.org

root@bear:/# rails
bash: /usr/bin/rails: No such file or directory
root@bear:/#

The weird thing is, if I type ‘rai’ and hit tab, it will auto complete
to rails. So why is it saying file not found?

Tom.
