I installed the in\_place\_editor plugin from
[http://dev.rubyonrails.org/svn/rails/plugins/in\_place\_editing/](http://dev.rubyonrails.org/svn/rails/plugins/in_place_editing/)

This is what I have:

\<%= in\_place\_editor\_field :frontpage,
‘page\_text’, :in\_place\_editor\_options =\> { :rows =\> ‘30’, :cols =\>
‘20’, :save\_text =\> ‘do this’ } %\>

This is what I get:

Placeholder
text for the frontpage.

new Ajax.InPlaceEditor(‘frontpage\_page\_text\_1\_in\_place\_editor’, ‘/
frontpage/set\_frontpage\_page\_text/1’)

It seems like in\_place\_editor\_options is being co-opted as
tag\_options. Am I a moron, or is something going wrong?
