# How to return Full path in File\_field?

Hello,

I have put a file\_field on my form and it is working but instead of  
returning the full PATH+filename it only returns filename. On screen  
when I pick a file it shows Path+filename but when submited only  
filename goes through

Heres the controller thing

def pickfile  
if request.post?  
puts params[:foo][:filepath]  
end  
end

and view

Arquivo de Fatura  
  
\<%= file\_field “foo”, “arquivo\_fatura” %\>

apreciate any help

Just making small correction I meant to write

File  
  
\<%= file\_field “foo”, “filepath” %\>
