Hello,

I am currently in need of an authentication system where one user logs
in and the adds other users and passwords from his setting and then
those people can login. How can I do something like that? Is there a
plugin existing for it?

Also how can I have them login at [http://myappname.com/username/login](http://myappname.com/username/login)

Are there plugins that already do this? If not, how can I code
something like this.

Regards,
Prateek

You may want to look at restful\_authentication plugin. Before that, I
would highly recommend that you go through [learningrails.com](http://learningrails.com) podcasts
and screencasts here:

Screecast 11 explains in detail how to use the restful\_authentication
plugin.

Hi Bharat,

I am aware of restful\_authentication, and have used it quite a bit.
But it doesn’t completely satisfy my current need. I want the logged
in user to be able to add more user and have a dedicated login URL for
every user.

Thanks,
Prateek
