Hello everybody,

since this is my first post, I introduce myself : Christophe B., a
french developer.

First of all, I would like to congratulate all the Ruby-GNOME2 team for
their work.

Today I am interested in GooCanvas in order to develop a complex
timeline widget.

I saw on the page [1] that Ruby/GooCanvas was planned on the TODO list.

Do somebody know who is in charge with this project ? Is it already
hosted somewhere ? When will the developement start ?

I would be glad to participate 🙂

Thank you in advance for your answers.

I could use GnomeCanvas as a replacement, but it doesn’t use Cairo
(AFAIK) and GooCanvas’ API is more modern.

I would like to know if a tighter integration of Ruby-GNOME2 is planned
with all the GNOME websites, as PyGTK does.

Regards,

I’ll move it to the Ruby-GNOME2 project after the next release.

Please send me your account (user name and hashed password
generated by htpasswd) then I’ll setup your account for the repository.

## Thanks,

kou

Thank you.

I could not see this command line on the website [1]. A new developer
will ask the same question again.

The status page of Ruby-GNOME2 [2] links to the original GooCanvas
sourceforge project (in C language) but doesn’t links to [cozmixing.org](http://cozmixing.org).

I could not edit this line on the page [2] : can someone give me a login
to the wiki ?
