At: [Ruby on Rails - File Uploading | Tutorialspoint](http://www.tutorialspoint.com/ruby-on-rails/rails-file-uploading.htm)

You can find:

\<%= file\_field ‘upload’, ‘datafile’ %\>

I saw the file\_field documentation from here:

> **[ActionView::Helpers::FormHelper](https://api.rubyonrails.org/classes/ActionView/Helpers/FormHelper.html#method-i-file_field)**
>
> Form helpers are designed to make working with resources much easier compared to using vanilla HTML.

But, still cannot get how the parameters ‘upload’ and ‘datafile’ work.

Based on the documentation:

upload —\> object\_name
datafile —\> method

How is that?

Can you clarify on this?

Thanks.
