# Database table restore

Hi guys,  
We have a table named layoff\_comments in our database, but  
accidentally we have deleted(lost) all the data from this table, we have  
backup, and we want to restore that table, without dropping the current  
database. Please help us.

You’ll likely get better advice on a forum devoted to whatever db you’re  
using I think. Rails doesn’t have any restore-from-backup functionality  
built into it.
