# Can some one Please help me

I am new at Ruby on Rails.  
I downloaded everything and it is up and running, but when I started  
to create my first project,I had a problem with the  
boot.rb SEE BELOW…

```
rescue Gem::LoadError => load_error
  $stderr.puts %(Missing the Rails #{version} gem. Please `gem

```

install -v=#{version} rails`, update your RAILS\_GEM\_VERSION setting in  
config/environment.rb for the Rails version you do have installed, or  
comment out RAILS\_GEM\_VERSION to use the latest version installed.)  
exit 1  
end

Can some one please help me.

Did it print that error message? When you ran rails my\_app\_name?

What version of rubygems do you have and what gems are installed ?

So what is the problem?

## You have to install the gem it tells you to.
