Greetings from snowy Buffalo, NY! The WNY Ruby U. Group is meeting in two weeks. This will be our second meetup, and in a new location - we’ve located a large conference room to use, thanks to AMS[0]. Refreshments will be provided. Date: Monday, January 7th, 2008 – 7:00 PM Location: Academic Management Systems Address: 1576 Sweet Home Road, Amherst, NY Map: [Google Maps](http://xrl.us/bc436) Site: [http://wnyruby.com/2007/12/19/january-2008-meetup](http://wnyruby.com/2007/12/19/january-2008-meetup) If you plan on coming please leave a comment on the blog post for the meetup[1], or email me off list, so we can get a rough idea of how many people are coming (our first meetup had around a dozen). We’re going to do a few information sessions, including an intro to Capistrano, Ruby blocks and procs in depth, and an overview of Haskell and functional programming (by Kevin Baird, author of Ruby by Example[2]). See you there! Jim L. Hey all, This is a reminder that the Western New York Ruby U.’ Group meeting is this evening at 7pm. If you’re in the Buffalo / Rochester / WNY / Southern Ontario area, we’d love to have you show up and attend. We had about a dozen Rubyists at our last meeting–let’s see how many of us are in the woodwork!
