# Bounty for #416

Like the ticket creator says in the description, always serving cached  
versions of pages would be extremely cool, so I wanted to let people  
know I  
just offered a $500 bounty for [#416 (proxy\_cache\_use\_stale run updating in new thread and serve stale data to ALL) – nginx](http://trac.nginx.org/nginx/ticket/416) at  
Bountysource.

As far as I know, it is. If there’s a way to achieve the aim of this  
ticket with the current version of nginx, I would _love_ to know how to  
do  
it.
