# Belongs\_to\_auto\_completer \> undefined method \`reflect\_on\_association'

hi, im using

ModelAutoCompleterHelper  
([http://model-ac.rubyforge.org/classes/M](http://model-ac.rubyforge.org/classes/M) … elper.html)

and getting the error above.

now its working when i do it direclty in the controller of that model.  
eg: books & author \> running the code in the books controller/.

where its not working is when i put it eg into a “search”  
controller…i tried to pass in a instance variable, but that didnt  
help…

any ideas?
