IronRuby does not currently support BEGIN/END. HTree uses BEGIN like
this to syntax check if code\_to\_syntax\_check contains valid Ruby code.
eval(“BEGIN { return true }\n#{code\_to\_syntax\_check}”)

Is there any difference to just using this?
eval(“return true\n#{code\_to\_syntax\_check}”)

I thought we had added BEGIN/END to
[http://www.ironruby.net/About/Roadmap](http://www.ironruby.net/About/Roadmap). I don’t see it though. Will add
it.

Thanks,
Shri
