Hi

I am new to Ruby and want to write one automation service which support
windows/linux. This service will call some webservice and write the
output data into files.

What is the best approach to do it.Please advice me.

Thanks,
David

Wow that was terse.

But he’s right. If you’re new to the language you should make sure you
have
a good reference before you start a new project. Its OK to learn as you
go.

At the very least, get a good grasp of the language mechanics and then
start
going through the networking sections at [ruby-doc.org](http://ruby-doc.org)
