Hi All,

I’m working through the updated rolling with rails tutorial ( for
Rails 2.0.2 ) via the screencast at [rubyplus.org](http://rubyplus.org) & I’ve got the point
where the auto generated layouts have been replaced with a global
application.rhtml.erb - but for me, it is not used.

Does just the application name mean it gets automatically used, or do
I need to do something else to make it get used by the recipes and
categories index.rhtml.erb

cheers, Dave P.

Answering my own question…

When i created the file I gave it an extension of .rhtml.erb instead
of .html.erb

cheers, Dave
