I originally posted this to the development list, but this list is
probably more appropriate.

TableauEngine is a AJAX-based photo album engine ported from the
original Tableau photo album for rails, found at
[Koalan & Surikaten](http://creativi.st/tableau). A demo for Tableau (not TableauEngine) can
be found at [Koalan & Surikaten](http://creativi.st/gallery).

Changes to the original Tableau include:

1. integration with LoginEngine and UserEngine
2. upgrade to Lightbox 2.02
3. support (slightly hackish at the moment, but fine for now) for
multiple galleries

i’ll be putting together collaboa for it soon, but for now, please
direct any questions, comments, patches, feature requests, flames or
loveletters to me.

The SVN repository can be found at
[http://publicsvn.carpeliam.com/tableau\_engine](http://publicsvn.carpeliam.com/tableau_engine), you should also be able
to get it by running `ruby script/plugin discover` and then running
`ruby script/plugin install`, but i haven’t had a chance to test this
yet.

Hopefully yet another photo gallery (this time, it’s an engine!) will be
useful to the community. P.S., I’m not associated with development on
Tableau itself, just the engine.
