In Antonio C.'s blog [http://antoniocangiano.com/](http://antoniocangiano.com/)
he released his Great Ruby Shootout (July 2010) results below:

> **[Programming Zen](https://programmingzen.com/)**
>
> Programming Zen is a blog about programming and emerging technologies, authored by Antonio Cangiano, a Software Development Manager and AI Evangelist at IBM.

His results confirmed what I have seen going from 1.9.1 to 1.9.2.
i.e, array performance has regressed (gotten slower).

I have a set of benchmarks that are heavily array based and saw
their performance under 1.9.2 slower than 1.9.1 too.

So, will 1.9.2 final fix this regression from 1.9.1? or at least later?

You can ping ruby core about it I suppose…
