Job Mission

Solution Engineering at Remerge is a global team operating across many regions that provides technical solutions to clients, partners and many of our internal teams in San Francisco, New York, Berlin, Singapore, Beijing, Seoul, and Tokyo.

As a Senior Solution Engineer, as part of our expansion plan, you will be the first local Engineer in the US. Your main goal will be to provide the most efficient, effective and scalable technical solutions in that region.

Job responsibilities

  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of AdTech and of the Remerge products and technical stack.
  • Use Domain-Specific Languages and Custom Code to integrate and optimise our Dynamic Advertising Products.
  • Solve client problems using a variety of analytical and technical tools including developing innovative solutions, troubleshooting code, querying databases, and data analysis.
  • Reproduce and clarify issues within a highly complex technical context.
  • Liaising with our Tech team to ensure that software quality is improving based on analysis of issues logged by clients and our operational team.
  • Collaborate and strategize with Sales, Account Managers and Ad Ops on the most effective ways to move customers through their agile journey.
  • Provide pre-sales support in consultations and/or product capability assessments with prospects.
  • Document technical articles or knowledge base for use by other technical support personnel and/or customers and partners.
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization and with external partners.
  • Essential:

    • Capable of developing processes, procedures documentation, and training users in complex topics.
    • Ability to deliver short term results while investing in long term strategic solutions.
    • Preferred: (if you lack any of it, your other strengths will be considered):

      • You have at least 2 years of technical support or development experience.
      • You have a working knowledge of Information Technology - such as Ruby, Go, SQL.
      • You are familiar with Kanban and Ticketing Software and understand what Service Level Agreements are.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in-person and remotely.
      • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
      • Out of the box thinking.
      • Ideal:

        • You’re passionated with programming, and have skills in different technologies.
        • You don’t have a standard education nor have fully completed University Studies but consider yourself highly technical.
        • Or have abandoned a Ph.D. and want to pursue a technical career in Ad Tech and Retargeting
        • Or have extensive experience in the Retargeting Industry
        • You have an excellent command of English and good communication skills
        • You have certain knowledge of some of the following: Ruby Development, Mobile Development, Web Development, CSS, Javascript, Tracking and Attribution, Data Management Platforms, Real-Time Bidding, Deep-linking and Universal Links, REST, Spark, Hadoop, Druid, Elastic Search, Kibana, Grafana, API development, Jira development, Confluence Development, Salesforce Development, APEX, SOQL, SOSL.
