We are a recently founded stealth-mode crypto company building a token economy that allows any person to contribute value to groups and businesses they care about... and be rewarded with ownership in the future they are helping to create.
Our founding team are successful entrepreneurs and crypto tech execs from top universities (Williams, Stanford, Harvard, etc.) who have worked together for years.
We’ve quickly raised funds from strategic leaders at top venture firms and businesses, and we just launched our closed MVP are barreling toward an open Alpha launch of our stealth product.
The emerging crypto market sector we’re addressing is BIG. It has created companies worth hundreds of millions of dollars in months - and we are massively innovating on the capabilities of existing organizations.
You will be joining our core team as a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer. As a QA engineer, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our manual and automation test suite of ThriveCoin services. We have services written in Ruby on Rails and Node, using postgresql and mongodb for storage, redis, memcached, elasticsearch, websockets, etc
On any given day you will:
- Perform exploratory tests to ensure an exceptional user experience for ThriveCoin web apps and website
- Work with product owners and designers to refine features and contribute to requirements
- Provide test feedback and pair up with engineers to test the features throughout the development process
- In collaboration with the engineering team develop automated test suites
- Keep an overview of bug reports and prioritize them in collaboration with our product and engineering teams
- Manage our manual test suites
Requirements
- Previous experience (2+ years) using e2e test frameworks (Selenium, Protractor, Cypress)
- Experience with automated testing of Rest APIs and multiple application platforms like Web and Mobile.
- Performance testing
- Automated generation of test data
- Working knowledge of relational database concepts
- Good understanding of best practices in TDD and CI/CD (cloud and embedded environments) and automation experience.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Experience with containers, Docker, Kubernetes
- Awareness of DevOps toolchain
