Role Overview:

We are looking for an intermediate Full Stack Engineer to join our team and work with one of our clients to deliver an enterprise software solution on multiple platforms including web, desktop, and other integrated systems.

The successful candidate will have some experience working on JavaScript or Ruby on Rails web-based enterprise applications. Experience in Node.js/React/Angular, Java, or C# is an asset. Experience in a product-based environment is preferred.

  • Location:  Charlottetown, PEI, or Remote  Canada
  • Start Date:   Immediately
  • Employment Type:  Full Time or Contract
  • Travel: may be required 1 week per quarter* (every 3 months) to the client site *travel is currently on-hold due to Covid-19 restrictions but will resume once restrictions are lifted

    • Responsibilities:

      • Work with peers to analyze technical system problems/defects, and design and implement effective solutions although having the ability to work independently is important.
      • Work on web-based enterprise applications built on modern frameworks with RESTful API back-ends and exhibit a strong willingness to learn new technologies. 
      • Handle end-to-end development, including development, testing, and deployment.
      • Work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and peers to iteratively create software that meets business and technical requirements.
      • Contribute to the development of team backlog, plans, and assignments. 
      • Create and maintain technical documentation.
      • Be part of a culture of innovation and learning.
        • 2+ years of professional experience.
        • Experience in full stack web development.
        • Experience with source control tools like git.
        • Experience / exposure to remote agile development methodology would be considered assets.
        • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
        • Additional Assets:

          • Working with cloud computing services like Azure/AWS/GCP
          • Ruby on Rails experience
          • C# experience
          • JavaScript/Node.js/Angular/React experience
          • Enterprise applications development
          • Experience with MVPs (Minimum Viable Product) or proof of concepts
          • Experience working with OAuth 2.0
