Forum: Ruby IO.popen without console

I'm opening a IO.popen for passing commands to a DOS program while the
scripts run.
I need to keep the DOS program opened during all the execution.
When i run it as a .rbw the console appears!
I can hide the console? There is another solution?
I'm using WinXP.
