Hi
I’ve started using the REST-based routing in 1.2, but I’m finding that
I’m losing the connection to the MySQL database each time a new URL is
used. A 500 error is returned.
This is fixed by either clicking the go or refresh buttons on the
browser.
I’m runing in development mode, with a newly minted Rails app., with
just the scaffold code for a simple table.
Also running on WinXP.
Has anyone any suggestions as to how I might fix this? Perhaps I need
to update the MySQL adaptor, but not sure how to do this …
OK, got it fixed.
So obvious, but it always is.
Needed this in environment.rb
RAILS_GEM_VERSION = ‘1.2.1’ unless defined? RAILS_GEM_VERSION
Had been 1.1.6.
