i’m working on a generator , i don’t find very much information about
how to create your own generator and i have some questions:
what is the difference between m.file and m.template and when do you use
them?

Huh? A generator for what? Well after googling I discovered it’s
something for Rails. You are on the wrong mailing list. Note that
this is a mailing list, as in you are sending people email when you
post by www.ruby-forum.com. For a better response to this you may
want to ask your question on the rails mailing list, via
http://www.ruby-forum.com/forum/3
