Non so se lo sapete, ma un amico mi ha girato or ora la seguente:
“SketchUp contains a Ruby application programming interface (API) for
users
who are familiar with (or want to learn) Ruby scripting and want to
extend
the functionality of SketchUp. This interface allows users to create
macros,
such as automated component generators and additional tools, to be
included
in the menus within SketchUp.”
Sketchup è il tool di modeling 3d di google (specializzato per
interfacciarsi con google earth e popolarlo con edifici 3d)

Ma SketchUp c’è solo per windows però 
linux non è nemmeno previsto…
chissà se almeno funziona con wine.
