Hello everyone,
I’ve been hooked on the idea for a while to make a Rails and AJAX
powered
strategy game. In the past I’ve enjoyed working on mod teams for FPSs in
my
free time but I’m hooked on the Ruby language and all the cool stuff you
can
do with AJAX now . I have created a few internal web applications for my
contract work using Rails, so I’m quite familiar with it now.
So I was curious if there were any like minded individuals and decided
to
make a shout out. I’m kinda turned off by those real time strategy web
based
games I’ve seen for years but know there are other alternatives. I’m a
big
fan of euro style board games, and turn based strategy games. Just for
fun
or profit either way I’d love to see a Rails based game come to
fruition.
Give me a shout if you’re interested, or can point me to any good people
willing to take me in.
