Hi All,
Silly newb question. Is there a reason why :layout is unimplemented
in render_component() ? I’m looking at a situation where that would
seem to be the right answer.
Are there any patches available to add this?

Since a component is meant to be shared/used in more than one place,
the layout would be specified by the render view that contains the
render_component.
