Does anyone have any existing code for a double opt-in mailing list
system
based on Rails? Wouldn’t be hard for me to make one, but I don’t want
to
reinvent the wheel if someone else has already done it and published the
code
somewhere?
It’s for one-way mailshots only. I don’t need to do much more than
collect
email addresses of interested people - if the system can do the sending
that’s a bonus but really not necessary. A database table populated
with
email addresses, where people can remove themselves, is more than good
enough.
It’s just that Googling for “ruby on rails mailing list engine” and
similar
kinda brings me to the actual Rails mailing list, which has a fair bit
of
dominance on those words!
Since I need to make one anyway, if there isn’t one already in
existence, I’ll
write my code with the aim of giving it to the community.
