Forum: Rails Engines development engine_javascript only works in certain places?

I have engine_javascript working fine in a layout file - inside of the 
HEAD tags.

I'm trying to use it in a view template at the end of a file and I'm not 
getting anything.

By design or is this a bug?

It should be available in every view. Are you seeing any error?

No error at all, but I was using a very old version of engines. 1.0.6 
has fixed it wonderfully, thanks :)
