BACKPACK: There was a problem processing your email

We’re sorry, but there was an error processing your recent email to a
Backpack page:

Subject: [Rails] BACKPACK: There was a problem processing your email
To: [email protected]

There’re a variety of things that can cause you to see this error, but
it’s
OUR fault, NOT YOURS. Often times this is a temporary glitch that will
be
fixed within a few seconds or minutes.

We’ve been alerted and will look into it shortly. If it’s not something
we can
fix immediately, you can be sure it’s been put on the high priority list
and
we’ll be getting to it shortly.

If after a few minutes you continue getting this response to emails
you’ve sent
to your Backpack pages, please send an email to [email protected]
explaining in as much detail as possible what caused you to see this
message.

Thanks for your patience, understanding, and help.

Hmm, so why does the error mail for Backpack go to this list anyway?

My guess is that someone subscribed their Backpack page address to
the rails list in an attempt to archive list email to their backpack
page. Not sure why–a BP page is not searchable, so the archive would
be pretty useless, esp. considering the list is already archived
elsewhere.

Anyway, that’s my theory.
