Hi,
I followed the tutorial about installing RoR on a Pair Networks’ Host.
Everything seem to work but the application lives few seconds (checked
in browser, it works ) and then the process is killed.
Another thing, every time I connect to the host through SSH I have to
type
setenv GEM_PATH ~/lib/ruby/gems/1.8 (freeBSD)
Otherwise it doesn’t find Ruby, is there a way to avoid it?
Can someone help me, please?
Thank you in advance
Mik

If you don’t get any answer after today, I’d suggest you repost your
question, IN A NEW THREAD, with a another subject.
I remember someone mentioning Pair as a good hoster, so you could try :
“hosting with Pair : Rails’ app dies after a few seconds”

Cattimik-
Can you give some more informations please? Ruby killed after a few
seconds doesn’t help me help you much. What platform are you on? What
are you trying to run when it quits ? How are you invoking ruby?
A little more info and I suspect you will get more help.
Cheers-
