Hi everyone, this week, org applications will start and our project/idea list is *looking good*! Not only do our ideas cover a great spectrum of topics, we also have new mentors (from four different continents!). From this perspective, GSoC has already been a success. Students, you should really be considering a project yourself by now. Don't hesitate to contact the mailing list, or the mentors, if you have questions! This will also increase your chances of being chosen. I doubt any student has a real reason not to apply: It's a well-paid student's job, you'll be doing something fun and useful; and it will most likely help you for your professional career.
