 *Job Description*

Cynergies Solutions Group is looking for qualified candidates for a Ruby
Programmer position with one of our clients in the Cleveland, Ohio area. 
Our
client has developed the world's most powerful search and analytics 
engine
for healthcare data and is in need of a Ruby Programmer for its Web 
Service
project.

 *Experience, Skills, Knowledge*

 Degree in computer science or the like.

 Proficient in the Ruby language.

 Deep understanding of HTTP.

 Have led 2 or more Ruby on Rails based projects into production.

 Has built Ruby on Rails or Sinatra based RESTful Web Services.

 Knows and can evangelize Ruby on Rails patterns and best practices.

 Ability to select API's at all layers of the Ruby on Rails stack. (Data
Access, Services, Models, Controllers, and View)

 Ability to mentor and code review. Provide feedback while keeping in 
mind
architectural concerns are of the highest priority.

 Understands and can use Ruby, Rails, Jruby, Rake, HAML, Rack, Warbler,
etc.

 Can document, both written and visual architectural diagrams that will 
be
used as design and requirement documentation.

 Any view layer API experience would be helpful. Including .erb, .haml.
SASS, SCSS, etc.

 Can influence and provide constructive feedback in a large group
environment.

 Can create documentation and training material that will aid in the
adoption of the Ruby on Rails stack.

 Beneficial to have some experience with the Java language.
