Has anyone heard about a Programming Ruby 2.0 edition coming out?

Yes, there's work going on. Dave Thomas asked some days ago on the
ruby-core mailing list about how (and if) he should document Refinements
in
the new Pickaxe book.

The book is available now in beta. You can get it at

A quick heads up, I just noticed there was a time-limited free upgrade
coupon on my pragprog account for this book, worth checking your account
if you've got the 1.9 pickaxe book :)

cheers,
Tony.

This is sad: I have the 1.9 pickaxe book, and when I try to register
it(because I have it since a year in paper version but never registered
it in their web) just can't, the option is unavailable on 'Register a
Book Bought Elsewhere', I've opened a thread on their forum:
http://forums.pragprog.com/forums/144/topics/11477.

BTW thanks for the advice t0ne!

Update: they respond me: this opportunity can be reached by the people
who bought the book(Programming Ruby 1.9(third edition)) from their
webpage, not if you bought on Amazon or somewhere else. Kind regards.
Damián.
