Forum: Ruby what does (({this})) mean?

I often see posts including bits wrapped in ((%symbols%)) and
((|brackets|)) and (({strange things})), but I've never been able to
find something that explains what they are, or how they differ from each
other.

It doesn't help that I can't search for them in Google, but Symbolhound
shows up a few[1].

I assume they're some sort of RDoc code-quoting markdown, but I can't
find a solid reference. Is there one? What do they all mean?

According to
https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/plugin_assets/redmine_r...
,
(({Inline Code})) means Inline Code
((%Keyboard%)) means inline Keyboard
((|variable|)) means inline Variable

Also refer to http://rubyforge.org/docman/view.php/5708/3908/RD for
more information.
