Hi,

Recently, I can see many spam messages from ruby-core mailing list
originated in Ruby Issue Tracking System.
Is there any idea to stop spam?

How about adding captcha plugin in user registration process?

+1 for captcha. those spams are annoying.

Could the spam be coming from other sources, such as ruby-forum.com or
ruby-core@ruby-lang.org?

Do you have to have a redmine account to send an email?

They're sending using redmine directly. Because the mail is coming from
redmine,
and account link exists on redmine.

I'm locking their accounts when I found spammer.
(lock = disable an account on redmine admin tool)

Let's hope a captcha will stop them, but it ideally it would be the
mailing
list that would stop the spam with an effective antispam filter. I mean,
what if they register directly...
