Forum: Ruby-core [OT] Mailing list: multiple email copies

Hi,

Everytime I send out an email to the list, the mailing list software
sends me back the same email (presumably because it was posted to the
list, and I'm subscribed).  Other list managers like Majordomo and
Mailman are clever enough not to do this.  How can we get rid of this
annoyance?

Hello,

you can configure your mailing program to automatically delete those
messages, it's what I did and it works. If you're not concerned about
bandwidth, I think that's a valid solution.
As for server-side modifications, I don't know. ;)
