Team, Has anyone compiled Ruby under IBM Mainframe OS Z/VM? Or can Ruby be compiled to run under IBM Mainframe OS Z/VM? Thank you

If there's a JVM, JRuby's an answer. We have people using JRuby on Z-series, but under z/Linux, not under z/OS. However, I poked around for a few minutes and found this: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/tools/java/... That's Java 7, 64-bit (31-bit available too) for z/OS. I would expect there's versions going back a ways too. So then...JRuby's an answer. - Charlie
