continuation of http://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/6903

I have prepared a patch that:

- fixes detection of lib64
- replaces all occurrences of /prefix/ with "$(prefix)"

So ruby after allocation is still functional, including relative paths 
for compilation gem native extensions.
