Hi Folks,

I am using JRuby 1.6.7.2 and 1.7.0-preview1 on Java 7 on OSX Snow
Leopard.
I happen to be using rbenv, though I don't believe that affects this
issue

$ java -version
openjdk version "1.7.0-jdk7u6-b21"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0-jdk7u6-b21-20120728)

$ rbenv which jruby
/Users/peterfitzgibbons/.rbenv/versions/jruby-1.6.7.2/bin/jruby
$ jruby -v
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

$ rbenv which jruby
/Users/peterfitzgibbons/.rbenv/versions/jruby-1.7.0-preview1/bin/jruby
$ jruby -v
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

My current SystemMemory :
Free: 4.01Gb
Wired: 1.30Gb
Active: 1.71Gb
Inactive: 0.99Gb
Used: 3.98GB
Installed: 8.0Gb

Anyone have a suggestion on configuration or other issue that is causing
this ?

Thanks a million!
