Hi all

The hiki [http://ruby-gnome2.sourceforge.jp/] still have link to the
subversion repository and not the git one.
I was not able to change this link in the left part of the hiki pages.
Can someone change this ? It would be helpful.

Indeed, our documentation pages on hiki seem to be in a very bad shape.
Editing and/or updating pages seldom works as expected. Recently the
entire site became inaccessible. Sending e-mail to maintenance about
problems is in vain.

Is anybody aware of these problems?

Thanks!
Here are some pointers:

  * raw Hiki data: https://github.com/ruby-gnome2/doc
    (But they aren't the latest data. We should pull the
    latest data from ruby-gnome2.sourceforge.jp at migration
    time.)

    * hiki/cgi-bin/hiki_writer.rb is a script that generates
      static HTMLs from raw Hiki data. It's created to be a
      workaround for too slow our Hiki but it's not used
      yet. Because we applied another speed improvement
      changes. (The old our Hiki is more slower than the
      current our Hiki.)

  * A discusstion about migrating to YARD from Hiki:

Very nice!

Please keep in mind though that, although the current Hiki is not
perfect, the documentation it contains is very very helpful. Let's try
to keep that usability and helpfulness.

The Wiki was the reason I started with ruby-gtk. Ruby-qt does not have
any wiki at all for instance. :)

Like many other open source projects, what is a bit painful.

Also a section on GitHub with informations about how to contribute would
be
a good step forward, i.e.
what libs with versions are needed for development/bugfixing?
what are code standards that would be good to stay with?
etc.
