Hei everyone, is there a plan for a gtksourceview gem in the future? It would be nice to have it available without having to compile from source. Thanks! -- Andrea Dallera http://github.com/bolthar/freightrain http://usingimho.wordpress.com

Here you go! Would it be possible to have this, and the whole 0.90.3 stack of gems, pushed to rubygems? Also: it was a while since the last time I had to work with svn. It's pure pain. Would you consider switching to git? I'm taking care of porting the whole history. Ja na! -- Andrea Dallera http://github.com/bolthar/freightrain http://usingimho.wordpress.com

I think that we should release 1.0.0 as soon as possible. We can't consider about version constrol system change until 1.0.0. Thanks, -- kou

Do you really need to port the history? I worked on project and someone spent two weeks porting CVS history over to Perforce (don't ask) and no one used it. Maybe it's more important for open source projects but I'd just leave it where it is. Unless there are tools that make it easier these days. Great news on the gem though! Saves me a job :) Let me know when it's available and I'll test.
