Hi! Is http://ruby-gnome2.sourceforge.jp/hiki.cgi?cmd=vie... still relevant in Ruby 1.9? If so, how does this work with GLib::MainLoop.new and implicit mainloops created with, for example, Gtk::Dialog.run?

The problem is not ruby, but GTK, which is not thread-safe.
