hi,
does anyone use ubuntu server in production?
i am currently using ubuntu server 8.04. is there any benefit to
moving to 10.04 for ruby/rails on apache.

there are bugfixes in apache (http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/
CHANGES_2.2) and some kernel changes (the scheduler change looks
interesting)
but does that warrant moving to 10.04 - i can always install apache
from source.
what do you guys suggest or use in production?

PS: cross-posting to 'deploying rails' and rubyonrails group

cheers,
deepak

centos/redhat is by far the most used server on production. All my Rails
apps run on centos servers.

That said I run Ubuntu locally and I've heard good things about Ubuntu
server.
