Forum: Rails deployment how to select a reporting tool

Hi, i am fairly new to RoR and i have been working on a project; which
is fairly large project with 200 tables in it . and i have to working on
reporting. Can you please suggest what are the criteria that i have to
use to select the reporting tool . what is the best tool out there that
works with ruby on rails . my team mates and i discussed and we are
thinking of Birt any ideas.
