Como agregar a mi aplicacion una barra desplegable por fecha

Hola, quiero saber cÃ³mo agregar una barra desplegable que me muestre por
ejemplo: enero, febrero... diciembre, y cuando se seleccione se muetre
los "eventos" de mi pagina segun el mes... cÃ³mo lo haria moviendome
entre los archivos en ruby???? NECESITO AYUDA URGENTE
