Rev2 USRP and new RFX?

Back in 2007 there was a discussion about using the newer RFX (mimo B)
boards with a Rev3 USRP.

It’s pretty clear that the below applies to Rev2 boards as well but I
thought I would ask before I fire-up the old soldering iron.
