Forum: GHDL VHPI - Return value of a callback method

This question is about using GHDL's VHPI as a shared library.

I'm currently writing my master thesis and when looking back at my
code i was wondering if the return value of a callback method was ever
checked...

Given the readonlysync method registered against the cbReadOnlySynch
callback.
Is the int return value used in any way i.e. is there any reason i
should return 1 instead of 0 or vice versa?

Looking at the source code of GHDL, i've been unable to figure that one
out...

Cheers,

-Pascal
