Ãœber den Vortrag:

Rails 3 is due to be released at Railsconf the week of May 4th. Along
with the typical improvements to Rails syntax,
this release will be the result of the merging the ideas from the Merb
framework into Rails. In this talk we'll walk
through the new architecture of Rails showing how it has become more
agnostic, modular, flexible, and scalable (like Merb!).
Ruby on Rails has continuously been on the cutting edge of Web
technology with every release, and Rails 3 will be full of new
innovation.

Gregg Pollack lives in Orlando, Florida where he runs the Orlando Ruby
Users Group, helps
organize BarCampOrlando, and works for RailsEnvy.com. Rails Envy is
not only a blog/company, but
also a Podcast which weekly covers the news in the Ruby and Rails world.

Hallo UG,

da ich gerade auf der JAX bin, habe ich den Vortrag den Gregg morgen
in Düsseldorf halten wird schon Heute gehört. Der Vortrag war super
(auch wenn die Rails 3.0 changes wohl vor allem "under the hood" sein
werden) und Gregg Pollack ein extrem kompetenter Referent. Er ist von
einem Kaliber, was man in unseren Breiten wohl eher selten antrifft.
Ich kann daher nur jedem Rails-Interessenten, für den Düsseldorf nicht
allzu weit weg ist (und eventuell auch sonst :-) ), empfehlen da hin
zu gehen (auch da diese Veranstaltung natürlich unverbindlich und
umsonst ist :-) ).
